ABOUT US

The Sexual Health Equity Project is a non-profit organization, founded in 2023, dedicated to transforming women's healthcare by improving physician education in female genital anatomy and sexual function in order to prevent harm and enable better and safer care. We strive for a future where women's sexual health is treated with the expertise, care, and dignity it deserves.

WHAT WE DO

We collaborate with medical experts, educators, and policymakers to develop and promote improved educational materials and training standards that empower doctors with better understanding of female sexual anatomy and function.

DIRECT ADVOCACY

We reach out to professional medical organizations, medical schools residency programs, textbook authors, editors, and publishers directly to effect change.

TANGIBLE CHANGE

At SHE Project, we get concrete updates made to medical education materials.

DAILY SHOW INTERVIEW WITH SHE PROJECT CEO

Jessica Pin's early advocacy work got her onto The Daily Show in 2021. As of December, 2023, she has changed 14 major medical textbooks, 2 top anatomy apps, anatomy posters, and multiple online resources.

MISSION FOCUSED

Patients first.

The reason medicine is so difficult to change is because medical politics make it difficult for doctors to represent patient interests. Jessica Pin's rapid impact shows that change can be expedient when patients are prioritized over politics. SHE Project hopes to build on this legacy by recruiting more change-makers.
